- Pt. Ginde has been honored with the Lifetime Achivement Award in 2006 for his contribution to the art of playing Flute by the Sahara India Group, Lucknow, UP.
- Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi has already preserved this flute in their National Archives with video demos for the benefit of the future generations.
- Awarded Maharashtra Ratna Bhushan Puraskar by Thane based Organisation for significant contribution in Indian Classical Music.
- He has been recognised as Eminent Citizen for contribution in the field of Music by Pune Municipal Corporation.
- His contribution has been recognized in Limca Book of Records (1998) and Guiness Book of World Records (R&D)
